Forward2021 STS Annual Meeting Online: Immersive Video Experiences
Activity Description
The Immersive Video Experiences include access to 16 programs. Five “In the OR with…” sessions offer 360° views while a master surgeon operates and talks through his/her techniques.
Two versions of each “In the OR with…” session are included—one is a recording of the live session during STS 2021 where the moderator drove the 360° views, talked with the master surgeon, and engaged with the audience; the second version puts the viewer in the driver’s seat, allowing him/her to maneuver around the OR as the procedure is being performed.
The Immersive Video Experiences also include 11 “Deep Dive Into…” sessions that complement and expand upon the 360° video topics. The sessions go in-depth on particular procedures showing video clips while world-class panelists discuss and engage the audience with best practices, decision-making, and challenges.

Target Audience
The intended audience consists of cardiothoracic surgeons, general surgeons, anesthesiologists, oncologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and allied health care providers working with cardiothoracic surgeons. MDs and DOs may claim CME credit; non-MDs/DOs are awarded a certificate of participation.
