STS 2021 Online: Plenary: Presidential Address

The session will begin with an update on STS quality initiatives including progress on the STS National Database. Dr. Sean C. Grondin will introduce Dr. Joseph A. Dearani with a brief look at the life and career of the STS President, and the session will culminate with Dr. Dearani's address and his perspective at what the specialty has endured over the past year, how it has evolved, and why cardiothoracic surgeons have one of the most gratifying and impactful careers in all of medicine.
