2022 STS Annual Meeting Online: STS/SVS: Integration, Collaboration, and Innovation

With advances in endovascular devices and techniques, more and more segments of the aorta are being treated with endovascular stent grafting. Cardiothoracic surgeons will need to become familiar and comfortable with emerging endovascular devices, techniques, and strategies to address aortic disease from the annulus to iliac bifurcation. Through a case-based format and reviews of the current state, attendees will learn approaches to treating thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic disease entirely endovascularly.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe current state of endovascular devices for aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aortic repair.
  • Describe the surgical approaches and techniques used to perform endovascular aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aortic repair.

*Unless otherwise noted, speakers have nothing to disclose.
