• If needle aspiration inadequate, open biopsy needed for tissue diagnosis 
• Most asymptomatic lesions are benign
• If symptomatic, likely malignant lesions are excised 
• Reconstruction with biologics or native tissue
• Must reconstruct 
  • Posterior defects below 4th rib 
  • All anterior defects > 5 cm 
  • Resection of three or more ribs 
  • Manubrium or sternum
