Learning Points

TV should be repaired in concomitant MV surgery if:

  1. TR with annular dilatation >40mm
  2. TR with severe pulmonary HTN (>60mmHg)
  3. Symptomatic severe primary TR
  4. Moderate primary TR in patient requiring left sided valve surgery
